Dr. Maren Cahill, DAOM, L.Ac., FABORM
Founder & Clinic Director
Maren Cahill is the founder and clinic director of Well Woman Acupuncture and has been in clinical practice since 2006. She brings over two decades of experience supporting women through fertility, hormonal transitions, pregnancy, postpartum, and complex health concerns.
Maren holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a specialization in women’s health and aging, as well as a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. She is board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and is licensed to practice in the state of Colorado. She has also authored clinical case reports published in professional journals and has served on faculty at Southwest Acupuncture College, with guest teaching appointments at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
Her clinical focus is women’s health across the lifespan, with particular depth in fertility care, PCOS, and menopause, and an approach that integrates hormonal health, neurobiology, East Asian medicine, and trauma-informed nervous system support. Patients often seek Maren out for complex or layered concerns, especially when they are looking for care that is both clinically thorough and deeply attentive.
Maren founded Well Woman Acupuncture with the intention of creating a practice where women feel listened to, supported, and guided with clarity. Her approach blends careful investigation with compassion, helping patients navigate health challenges that are not always easily addressed by Western medicine alone.
Outside of the clinic, Maren enjoys hiking the trails of Boulder County with her dog, spending time on the water paddling, watching live theatre with her daughter, and writing and painting in her studio.
